Where would a snake go if it escaped?
Check behind and under all of the furniture, then behind and behind your snake’s enclosure. It’s common for snakes to hide behind or beneath items of furniture or other clutter. Look along the entire length of the room’s walls, as well as inside and beneath any baseboard heaters. They are unlikely to enter toilets, but they may end up behind them or even inside their tanks.
Will a snake leave a house on its own?
If given enough time and opportunity, most snakes will leave your home on their own. Shut the inside doors and open the door to the outside if you find a snake in your garage or a room leading to the outdoors. The snake should be on its way out in no time.
